On November 22, the Association of Korean Urologists held their 2022 annual conference at the The-K Hotel Convention and Dr. Park gave a lecture on inflatable penile prosthesis through the penoscrotal approach
To encourage academic research among its members, the Korean Urologists Association awards urology experts who have shown tangible research results, such as SCI-level publications. Dr. Park received this ‘Urology Academic Award’ earlier at their spring conference and to honor the award, he gave a lecture about his research paper
For his lecture, Dr. Park talked about important points to consider as well areas of caution to be aware of when performing inflatable penile implant surgery
Dr. Park continues to work on facilitating more discussion with local Korean urologists regarding penile prosthesis and he hopes to achieve this through his penile implant training program at Stand Up Prosthetic Urology
