On April 7th, the Seoul Conference of Excellence on Penile Prosthetic Surgery held its 2nd conference for Korean urologists at the Novotel Ambassador Hotel in Seoul, South Korea. Dr. Kohler from the Mayo Clinic, Dr. Capece from the University of Naples Federico II, and Dr. Park of Stand Up Urology were invited to hold lectures
All lectures from the three speakers featured 20-minute, pre-recorded surgical videos on inflatable penile prosthesis and a open discussion afterwards. Interest from attending local Korean urologists were high as lectures were on practical surgical techniques and lengthy Q&A’s continued as well after lectures
After the conference, Dr. Park stated, “South Korea continues to be the second largest country in the world for inflatable penile implant surgeries. We plan to hold more academic meetings like this in order to continually improve surgical outcomes, and the field of men’s health”
